Says peace accord between US, Taliban is a good omen

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said in a tweet that mosques and graveyards of Muslims are not safe in India and it has become a crime to be a Muslim in the country.

“Why the United Nations is becoming a silent spectator over Delhi riots? Narendra Modi himself brought about his destruction and he cannot escape the devastation,” he said.

In his message, the governor further said the peace accord between the Taliban and the US is a good omen and no doubt, war is no solution to problems, rather it aggravates the situation. “The US-Taliban accord is the victory of peace vision of Imran Khan. Pakistan Army’s sacrifices for regional peace are unprecedented in the world,” he remarked.

“Peace in Afghanistan will be useful for the region and Taliban-USA peace accord will also bring peace and stability in the region, and this peace pact will also prove to be beneficial for the region.

The governor said even Muslims’ mosques and graveyards are not safe at the hands of RSS terrorists in India today while being Muslim is a crime in India.

“For God’s sake, the United Nations and other international organisations instead of becoming silent spectators must take notice of Indian atrocities and help stop these tyrannies.” He said Modi’s terrorism was the biggest conspiracy against peace.
