Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, is suing LA Fitness for more than $1 million following a violent attack he endured in 2023.
The incident occurred at a South Florida location, where Hernandez claims the gym's lack of security led to the assault.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Hernandez alleges that three men, identified as Latin Kings gang members, attacked him without intervention from the gym staff. He argues that employees failed to follow proper security protocols and did not call the police in a timely manner.
Hernandez claims the attack caused significant physical injuries, including damage to his jaw, ribs, and back, along with pain, suffering, and medical expenses. He also states that the assault led to a loss of income and a diminished quality of life.
Footage of the attack shows the rapper attempting to shield himself while being repeatedly struck. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the assault.
