Suspect held during search operation

Further investigations are underway

MULTAN: Police claimed to have arrested a suspect during a house-to-house search operation launched at three different police station areas, police officials said on Saturday.

According to the officials, a police team, accompanied by law enforcement agencies’ officials, encircled the area and blocked the traffic on the road passing through the areas of Habeeb Colony, Muhammadpur, Kot Rabnawaz and Green Garden Town respectively in premises of Makhdoom Rasheed, Seetal Mari and Mumtazabad police stations.

Police teams combed the area and targeted dozens of houses and conducted biometric identification of 90 people. The teams arrested a suspect and seized illegal weapons during the search operation. Further investigations were underway from the suspect, police officials further said.
