QUETTA: National Party (NP) Secretary General Jan Buledi has criticised the Tehreek-e-Insaf government, terming it “the most corrupt and failed regime” in the history of Pakistan, holding it responsible for the economic turmoil.

“The country is under a civil martial-law while inflation and flawed economic policies are jeopardising the future,” Buledi said while addressing National Party’s district council meeting in Lasbela the other day.

He called for a national movement against the centre’s anti-public policies.

Buledi alleged that the incumbent government was carrying out political vandalism in Lasbela district and added that NP workers were being forced to withdraw from the party.

“Instead of providing relief to the people of Lasbela from criminals, the police and the district administration are chasing down our workers,” he said, adding that despite being the hometown of the chief minister, people of Lasbela were deprived of basic facilities.

“National Party will stage demonstration against political vandalism being carried out against our workers,” Buledi said.

He further expressed irk over dilapidated highways in Balochistan.
