LDA Director General Sumair Ahmad Syed has said the SAP system would help the authority ensure better service delivery, enhanced staff efficiency, optimum use of financial resources and improved decision-making.
“The authority will prepare new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and software manuals to streamline department functions, easy methods of payments and employees’ services records.”
He highlighted that the authority has constituted a six-member committee, comprising of director computer services, director administration, director finance, director coordination and software experts, under the leadership of the LDA headquarters DG, which will ensure a smooth transition from the existing system to the SAP-based advanced automation solution.
“The authority,” he pointed out, “has decided to introduce this software-based solution to run its administrative and financial affairs in line with international standards.”
