
The LA Philharmonic has announced the full lineup for the Hollywood Bowl 2025 summer season, featuring major stars like Hugh Jackman, Diana Ross, Juanes, and Cyndi Lauper, along with a unique staging of Jesus Christ Superstar led by Cynthia Erivo in the title role.
Jackman will open the season with a one-night performance on June 17. Jesus Christ Superstar will run from August 1-3. Other highlights include Earth, Wind & Fire’s fireworks spectacular (July 2-4), John Legend (Sept. 28), Alabama Shakes (Aug. 13), and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard performing with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra (Aug. 10).
Additional performances include John Fogerty (July 6), Josh Groban (Sept. 5-6), and an ‘80s-themed concert featuring Rick Springfield, John Waite, Wang Chung, and Paul Young. The Blue Note Jazz Festival (June 14-15) will showcase De La Soul, Grace Jones, and Willow.
On the symphonic front, Gustavo Dudamel will conduct eight performances in August with the LA Philharmonic and Venezuela’s Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. Film music lovers can enjoy live-to-picture performances of John Williams’ scores for Jaws (July 5) and Jurassic Park (Aug. 8-9). Alexander Desplat will conduct excerpts from The Shape of Water and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (July 15).
Tickets for Jackman’s performance go on sale Feb. 22, while general individual ticket sales begin May 6. Subscription and group packages are available now.
