Wendy Williams was seen at Miami International Airport on Saturday, February 15, making a rare public appearance amid her ongoing health struggles.
The 60-year-old former talk show host was photographed riding a mobility scooter through the airport, smiling as she greeted onlookers.
Dressed in a black button-down blouse, matching shorts, fishnet stockings, and fuzzy boots, Williams appeared in good spirits despite her recent health battles. She confirmed last year that she had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, conditions that impact speech and cognitive function.
In a February 2024 statement, her team revealed that the diagnosis allowed her to receive proper medical care. “The decision to share this news was difficult and made after careful consideration, not only to advocate for understanding and compassion for Wendy but to raise awareness about aphasia and frontotemporal dementia,” the statement read.
While Williams’ condition has posed challenges, insiders insist she remains herself. “She’s still Wendy,” a source told Us Weekly in January, adding that she maintains her signature humor and openness.
Williams also manages lymphedema, a condition causing swelling due to fluid buildup. She occasionally uses a scooter for mobility assistance but remains active.
Williams stepped away from The Wendy Williams Show in 2022, and the series ended that June. Since then, she has focused on her health, with fans continuing to support her through her journey.
