‘I Know Nothing’: FIR against 3 hostile witnesses

MULTAN: Local police have registered an FIR against three witnesses after they turned hostile and refused to record their statements in court on Thursday. Chelyak police said that three witnesses Yasin, Asif, and Aniq had refused to record their statements before a court in

Multan in a murder case registered with Sadar Arifwala police station a year ago. Arifwala police station sub-inspector Sher Ali filed a complaint against the three witnesses after they refused to give a statement even though they had recorded statements previously with the police. “All these men were key witnesses in the case. Now that they are unwilling to record their statements it will delay court proceedings by months,” said police officials.
