Livestock Expo to start from February 8

Pitafi stated that the expo will feature a range of indigenous breeds of livestock

HYDERABAD: The two-day Livestock Expo 2020 will start in Hyderabad from February 8. Sindh Livestock Minister Imdad Ali Pitafi and Sindh Education, Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah held a press conference on Wednesday, where the former said that the event will be of national level.

Pitafi stated that the expo will feature a range of indigenous breeds of livestock, while the breeders will be given information about the dietary requirements of the animals and briefed about different diseases among animals. He further said that breeders, researchers, farmers, doctors, medicine manufacturing companies  and other stakeholders will participate in the two-day event.

The provincial minister said that the event is aimed at attracting foreign investment for the livestock sector. The exhibition will also feature entertainment activities like musical nights and traditional sports to attract public.
