Energy Boost: UNIDO seminar on renewable energy

United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) organised a day-long seminar on the role of renewable energy as a clean development mechanism for industrial growth in active collaboration with the Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PGMEA) on Tuesday. Addressing the seminar, UNIDO representative Tanveer Ahmed and PGMEA chairperson Muhammad Younas stressed on the need for joint efforts to promote the role of renewable energy and clean development mechanisms for industrial growth in Sialkot. They said that the use of renewable energy was also needed to curb the energy crisis.
