‘Butchered’ Lives: Livestock trader injured in firing

The robbers took the butchers to an unidentified place where they tortured them and looted Rs3 million.

A livestock trader was injured and his driver was killed when unidentified men opened fire on them for resisting a robbery on the National Highway. Muhammad Ashraf Qureshi, a resident of New Karachi, and his butchers, were on their way to Sujawal when eleven assailants intercepted them. The driver tried to escape but the robbers shot and killed him. Qureshi was shot and injured. The robbers took the butchers to an unidentified place where they tortured them and looted Rs3 million and fled the scene.
