ACE recovers over Rs6b in 2019

Punjab ACE held 474 inquiries, gave a decision on 331 ongoing inquiries

LAHORE: Punjab Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) claimed to have made recovery of more than Rs6.85 billion during the month of December, 2019.

According to the performance report, out of this amount Rs8.43 million is of direct recovery, more than Rs5.68 billion have been recovered under the head of land recovery whereas over Rs1.16 have been recovered under the head of indirect recovery.

According to the report, ACE received 1,807 complaints in the month of September and it redressed 1,548 grievances including previous complaints.

Similarly, Punjab ACE holds 474 inquiries, gave decision on 331 ongoing inquiries, 104 cases were registered.

Furthermore, decision was given on 103 ongoing cases, 95 challans were submitted, 11 raids were conducted and 111 arrested. ACE also nabbed three court absconders and 10 proclaimed offenders in the month of December.
