Rs270m released for development projects

The district planning and coordination committee released Rs270 million funds for Punjab Municipal Services Programme for the district Sargodha.
Presiding over a meeting of District Planning and Coordination Committee, Sargodha Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyer Sheikh directed the department concerned and assistant commissioners and COs of municipal committees besides completing the development projects during the specific period the funds should be used transparently.
The meeting was told that Rs50 million would be spent on five schemes of Metropolitan Sargodha. Also, an estimated amount of Rs500,000 would be spent on each scheme of provision and drainage of water and soling under the Municipal Services programme.
Development Deputy Director Shafiqur Rehman, assistant commissioners and chief officers of municipal committees attended the meeting.
