A week-long programme on Driving Economic Development kicked off at Executive Development Institute (EDI) of the National School of Public Policy on Monday. The programme would focus on policy issues in finance, economics, governance and management. It would be attended by senior civil servants, legislators, businessmen, lawyers, journalists and academics. Iftikhar Ahmed, the EDI dean, said participants were drawn from diverse backgrounds to ensure healthy debates on various topics.
