Celebrities remember APS attack victims five years on

On this grim day, Mahira Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Mansha Pasha and more remember the victims

Today marks half a decade since the horrific attack at the Army Public School in Peshawar, and the country is mourning the loss of over 140 kids. Lest we forget, the Twitter trend list this morning is a resounding reminder that this day will for ever be etched in our collective memories, with countless tweets being made every hour.

A wound that cannot heal, a winter that never left

A number of celebs are also remembering the victims on this grim day, with Mahira Khan making a prayer for the world. "May this world never have to see a tragedy as big as this," she tweeted.



Actor Mansha Pasha also followed suit, tweeting, "We can never forget it. The horror of it."



Nadia Jamil paid her respect and solemn farewell to the victims of the attacks, majority of whom were little kids.




Superstar actor Bilal Ashraf also made a prayer for those affected by the brutal attack, which ultimately saw the Pakistan Army amp up their effort to thwart terrorists.

Faysal Quraishi also echoed the same sentiment, saying how this day will never be forgotten.



16 December is routinely commemorated as a Black Day in Pakistan's history, and will always be remembered for the inimitable bravery of the victims, the survivors, and the rescue forces.
