More police checkpoints to be set up in Kuchlak

DIG Quetta says it will improve overall situation of the city

QUETTA: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Quetta region police Abdul Razzaq Cheema on Saturday said the problems of the people of Kuchlak will be addressed by implementing judicial orders.

"Steps are being taken to solve the traffic problem in Kuchlak whereas the number of police checkpoints will also be increased to improve the law and order," he said while talking to political, tribal and social leaders during a public hearing.

He said more police check posts will be set up to improve the overall situation in the city.

"While staff members and number of shifts will be increased, other issues including land grabbing will also be dealt with in the light of judicial orders.
