‘Provision of basic necessities among government’s priority’

PTI leader says large number of people were forced to live in poverty due to policies of previous governments

LAHORE: The government's priority is to ensure the provision of basic fundamental necessities to the people and bringing prosperity and happiness to their lives, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Leader Jamshed Iqbal Cheema.

Several projects have been initiated in this regard, he added. “There will be a time when Pakistan would make it among the top countries in the Human Development Index.”

In his statement, Cheema mentioned that previous governments continued to get the best for themselves and their companions instead of bringing prosperity and improvement to the lives of the oppressed classes and common citizens.

Therefore, a large number of people are forced to live below the poverty line, he highlighted. Cheema further said that our premier is emphasising to spend the most on the nation from day one, aiming to provide basic facilities to all the citizens. “The more the resources are accomplished by the incumbent government, the higher will be the chances for it to facilitate the common man. Eventually, providing more resources to each citizen is the government’s top priority.”

Cheema elaborated that the execution of a uniform educational curriculum is underway and soon the nation would hear the good news regarding the education sector. “Equal opportunities of moving forward will be available to the children of both rich and poor classes.”
