Medical Education: PMA slams proposal for evening shifts

PMA leaders have criticised a directive issued to the PMDC to start evening classes in private medical colleges.

LAHORE:

Pakistan Medical Association leaders have strongly criticised a directive issued by the principal secretary to Prime Minister to the All Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) to start evening classes in private medical colleges.

PMA office bearers said on Saturday that the Prime Minister Secretariat had directed the PMDC to keep the issue on the agenda of 119th council meeting.

The PMA warned of countrywide protests if the proposal was pressed further.
