Pindi gets new RPO, CPO and commissioner

Both officials were presented guard of honour by the well turned out contingent of the police

RAWALPINDI: The newly-appointed regional police officer (RPO) and the city police officer (CPO) of Rawalpindi assumed charge of their respective offices on Monday.

Both officials were presented guard of honour by the well turned out contingent of the police when they arrived at their offices.

New RPO Sohail Habib Tajik has served as commandant at the Sihala Police College whereas the new CPO Ahsan Younus has performed his duties as RPO in different regions.

The outgoing RPO and CPO have been transferred to Police Training College Lahore and DIG Logistics and Procurement Central Police Office Punjab respectively.

Further, the new Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Muhammad Mehmood has also assumed the charge on the day.
