Rind welcomes appointment of Lt-Gen (retd) Bajwa
Says Bajwa took measures for the success of CPEC and has put Balochistan on a new path of development

Special Assistant to Prime Minister and parliamentary leader in the Balochistan Assembly, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind welcomed the appointment of Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa as the Chairman of the CPEC Authority, calling it a key step for the success of the mega initiative.
"Lieutenant General (retd) Bajwa took measures for the success of CPEC and has put Balochistan on a new path of development," Rind said in a statement.
He said the security at CPEC route is important to make the project a success and Lt- Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa is well aware of steps that are needed to maintain law and order.
Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind said that no progress can be made without securing the CPEC route hence Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Bajwa as chairperson of CPEC Authority.
