Romance is rumoured to be brewing between Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

According to her friend, the two require some time and space to figure things out

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are apparently just friends but their friendship has been rumoured to have escalated. The latest reports, however, suggest that the two are not dating each other yet, but the term "developing" has been used for their current relationship.

Even though Katrina and the URI actor are not officially in a relationship, it has come to light that they love spending time with each other or talking over the phone. Nevertheless, the two are apparently taking sometime before making any commitments in front of the media, or each other.

"They are not seeing each other formally, but they are definitely interested in each other's company. From what we gather, they do find the time to catch up on the phone. I'd say this is a developing relationship. Let's give them time and space, shall we?" a friend of Katrina told The Asian Age.

It was further reported that Vicky is in awe of Katrina's beauty, and often talks about her with his friends.



They even sparked rumours when they left in separate cars after a Diwali get together. The two were spotted leaving the venue at the same time but separately.

Katrina had given her two cents to the rumours, expressing how she has matured and these things don't matter to her anymore. She added that what ever respect any one has is because of their work and that is the only thing she is focused on.

The star said, "It doesn't even matter. These rumours are part and parcel of our life. Now I have that maturity to understand all that matters is the work that you do. That's what will make you sustain, that's what the audience loves you for or judge you on. All the rest just comes and goes as these are part of the job. We chose to come into the spotlight. There are a lot of people who hate to come into the spotlight. But that is the nature of being an actor, you have to accept and make peace with public speculation. Some days it will be truthful, some days not truthful, she had told an entertainment portal."
