Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that a traffic plan had been chalked out for the day's public meeting. "Previously, processions used to come from every district, but this time it would be ensured that the general public does not face any trouble," he said. He further stated that PPP leaders and members would visit the memorial of the tragedy located at Karsaz.

The provincial minister said that the incidents of October 18 and December 27 could not be separated and there was a possibility that both the attacks were carried out by the same group. He added that the pieces of evidence of December 27 were washed away immediately and the FIR was also not registered.
Talking about the by-elections, he mentioned that PPP's candidate from Larkana, Jamil Soomro, was stopped outside the polling station, while Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail openly violated Election Commission's rules and regulations in Ghotki, but no action was taken against them.
"National Accountability Bureau, as well as Election Commission of Pakistan, are abusing their powers while dealing with matters pertaining to the leaders of Pakistan People's Party," he said.

Ghani further stated that following the medical board's recommendations, Asif Ali Zardari should be provided proper medical facilities given that he is not only the former president of the country but also a member of the National Assembly.
Responding to a question regarding stray dogs in Karachi, the provincial minister said that the issue was relevant to the whole country and he was surprised that it was being discussed as if it was limited to Karachi only.
