Cattle show at Karachi Expo Centre causes traffic chaos
.

A large influx of visitors to the cattle show at the Expo Centre caused widespread traffic disruption in surrounding areas, leaving citizens stuck in long, exhausting traffic jams.
Heavy congestion led to long queues of vehicles across multiple roads, creating significant inconvenience for commuters. According to a traffic police spokesperson, the situation worsened due to free entry at the event, which attracted an unusually high number of visitors. Many pedestrians were also seen crossing busy roads, further slowing traffic flow.
Traffic remained particularly affected from Liaquatabad No 10 towards Hasan Square, as well as at the Liaquatabad and Ghareebabad underpasses, where vehicle movement was severely slowed. Traffic police personnel were deployed to manage the situation.
Severe gridlock was also reported from the Stadium Flyover to Hasan Square Flyover and onward to Liaquatabad, with long lines of vehicles stretching across these routes. Other major areas, including University Road, Karsaz Road, Lasbela, Patel Para, and Gurumandir, also experienced heavy congestion, causing difficulties for the public.
