KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information, Archives and Labour Saeed Ghani said that the country’s economic state could be assessed from the fact that industrialists and leaders of the business community had to meet the Chief of Army Staff and request for his intervention. Speaking to the media after the Sindh Assembly session on Saturday, Ghani said that the army chief later summoned the finance and revenue adviser and the federal board of revenue chairperson for the same concerns. “The incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken the country on the cusp of economic crisis. It has given nothing to the country except inflation and unemployment.” He accused the PTI for using the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to attack the opposition.
