KARACHI:

The Sindh Police has entered into an agreement with OMI Hospital to provide subsidised medical treatment to police personnel and their families.

The agreement was formalised during a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, attended by the Inspector General (IG) Sindh and the DIG Headquarters. It was signed by the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Welfare on behalf of the police department, while Managing Director and CEO Kashif Mustafa represented the hospital.

Under the terms of the agreement, police personnel and their families will receive a 50 per cent discount on outpatient department (OPD) and emergency services, a 20 per cent discount on laboratory tests, and a 10 per cent discount on medicines.

Officials stated that the initiative aims to ease the financial burden on police employees, enabling them to focus more effectively on their duties and improving overall morale and performance within the force.
