Off The Streets: 15 children rescued by CPWB

A CPWB spokesperson said that most of the children were found begging on the streets for several months

FAISALABAD: A total of fifteen street children have been rescued by the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) from various parts of Faisalabad. A CPWB spokesperson said that most of the children were found begging on the streets for several months and had been taken into the bureau’s custody. The children include Ehtisham, 4,  Saqib, 6, Jamshaid, Irfan, Adnan ,4, , Ali Raza, Rizwan, Fazal Husain, Muazzam, Waqqas, 10, Imran, Ali Hasan, Rehman , 6, Faisal and Usman. The children are being kept in the custody of the CPWB along with 64 other children rescued from the streets. The bureau is also providing schooling and boarding facilities to the rescued children.
