The development comes after British authorities accepting the mutual legal assistance (MLA) request of Islamabad agreed to provide evidence of Dr Imran's murder, who was assassinated after being stabbed multiple times in London on September 16, 2010.
Three suspects of the murder are being tried in Pakistan.

They also revealed that the two MQM leaders had close ties.
Ibad, who was the longest serving governor in the country, could be interrogated to find out the possible beneficiary of the Imran’s murder and to ascertain the objectives of his assassination, the insiders added.
They said that the counter-terrorism wing of the FIA with the approval of Ministry of Interior will head to Dubai for the interrogation where the former governor is residing after being removed from his post in 2016. He held the Sindh governorship for 14 years.
Dubai meeting
According to Express News, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar met Dr Ibad in Dubai earlier in the day and exchanged views over the prevailing situation in the country particularly in the Sindh.
On the occasion, Sarwar appreciated the role of Ibad during his tenure as governor, saying the Sindh government needs to take benefit from his experience to resolve issues of the province mainly of Karachi.
