NAB raids residence of Wasim Akhtar’s adviser
Files of illegally allotted land in Karachi, eight vehicles, arm and ammunition and jewellery recovered
ISLAMABAD:
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday raided the Rawalpindi residence of Liaqat Ali, an advisor to Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar.
During the raid, NAB Rawalpindi was able to recover files of illegally allotted land of Bagh-e-lbn-e-Qasim and its illegal amalgamation with land in KDA Clifton.

Along with the property files, eight vehicles, arm and ammunition and jewellery were found at the residence which was taken into custody by NAB.
Official records of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and two lockers were also found during the raid.
It has been reported that Ali is still serving as the Director-General Parks in KMC.
