Child among three killed in accidents
Police have lodged an FIR and hunt for the driver is underway
QUETTA:
At least three people, including a child, were killed in two separate road accidents in Quetta. According to police, the first hit and run case occurred in Quetta’s Inscumb Road on Friday where a speedy vehicle hit a man named Muhammad Sadiq, leaving him dead. Police and rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the body to Quetta’s Civil Hospital for the medical and legal process. Police have lodged the First Information Report (FIR) and hunt for the driver is under way. However, the body has been handed over to heirs for burial. Meanwhile, a child was killed after being hit by a tractor in Quetta’s Kechi Baig area. Police reached the spot and shifted the child’s body to Civil Hospital for identification. The tractor driver has been arrested whereas FIR has been lodged against him over reckless driving.
