Family of missing professor protest
Demanding his immediate release, the protest was held outside Hyderabad Press Club

The family and friends of the missing person, Prof Inam Bhatti, of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) held a protest outside Hyderabad Press Club demanding his immediate release. The professor's parents, wife, children, friends and MUET faculty took part in the protest. Prof Bhatti was allegedly whisked away from Karachi airport on September 3 while boarding a flight for Turkey. Human Rights Commission of Pakistan's Hyderabad chapter also called a meeting over the enforced disappearance and demanded his swift recovery.
