District coordination officer (DCO) Iftikhar Ali Sahu has lauded the improved examination system and the inclusion of modern subjects in the syllabi of seminaries.

During a visit to Jamia Qasimia at Canal Colony, where middle level to MA examinations were being held under the aegis of Wafaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, the DCO said that acquiring religious as well as contemporary education was imperative to enable Madarsah students to contribute to the national development process. He said it was necessary for madrassah’s to be in line with modern education standards.

He said the madaris could improve their performance through regular registration and by holding examinations in a transparent manner.

Controller examinations Mufti Khalid Mehmood and Muntazim-e-Aala Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir informed the DCO that examinations for middle, matric, FA, BA and MA were being held across Pakistan and AJK under Wafaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia.
