Judicial Commission: Six additional judges recommended

the appointment of six additional judges of the Peshawar High Court to the parliamentary committee

ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has recommended the appointment of six additional judges of the Peshawar High Court to the parliamentary committee for appointment of judges. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry presided over the commission’s meeting which has been mandated to refer appointments to the superior judiciary to the parliamentary panel for confirmation under the 18th amendment. The commission recommended Khalid Mehmood, Fazle Haq Abbasi, Nasir Hussain Khan, Waqar Ahmad Shah, Qaiser Rashid and Malik Azmatullah as additional judges for one year.
