Exploitation: ‘Sanitation workers are being overworked’

KARACHI: The city government’s workers union has criticised the management for using its malaria control programme workers to clean up garbage in some towns. The union said that the workers were now being forced to work as sanitation staff from 10 pm to 6 am. They have demanded the district coordination officer take notice of the matter.
