Shaukat Khanum Hospital gets Rs2m donation

Baskin Robbins made the donation, said there was no institute more deserving

LAHORE: Baskin Robbins donated Rs2 million to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre under the company's Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.

At a ceremony held at the hospital, Baskin Rubin CEO Harris Mustafa presented the check to Shaukat Khanum Hospital Director Marketing Tariq Azam. Speaking on the occasion, Baskin Robbins CEO Harris Sultan said there was no institute more suitable than Shaukat Khanum Hospital for this corporate social responsibility programme “Bantain Khushiyan”.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center is the only charitable cancer hospital in Pakistan where more than 75% of deserving patients have been provided free treatment for cancer for the last 24 years. So far a total of more than Rs39 billion has already been spent in this regard. All hospital facilities and technology are at par with international standards.
