Schools ban shorts on dengue fear
Children need to wear full sleeves, trousers or shalwars to prevent themselves from dengue causing mosquitos
RAWALPINDI:
Punjab government has directed schools to ban half sleeve shirts for both boys and girls and shorts and skirts or frocks for girls. The children need to wear full sleeves, trousers or shalwars to prevent themselves from dengue causing mosquitos, the notification of education ministry said. The schools are opening on August 14, however, there are fears that dengue causing mosquitos would have spawned in the schools and might infect the children. Therefore it was necessary that the children cover maximum of their body.
