CNG stations in Punjab to be closed 3 days per week

There will be no CNG available in Faisalabad, Islamabad and Bahawalpur regions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

CNG stations across Punjab will be closed for three days in a week due to the suspension of gas supply.


Earlier, the fuel stations had been closed on two weekdays.


The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) has issued a notification regarding the suspension of gas supply to CNG stations in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Multan and Gujranwala and Faisalabad regions.


There will be no CNG available in Faisalabad, Islamabad and Bahawalpur regions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.


In other regions, the supply will remain suspended on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.


Meanwhile, the All Pakistan CNG Association has called a meeting in Islamabad today to debate a future strategy.
