LAHORE: The Punjab University (PU) on Monday awarded four PhD degrees to scholars in different disciplines. The scholars awarded degrees included: Shah Nawaz, in the subject of Arabic, after the approval of his thesis. Asifa Jahangir was awarded a PhD degree in the subject of South Asian Studies (Area of Specialisation is International Relations) after the approval of her thesis. Similarly, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Abidi was awarded a doctorate in the subject of Zoology after the approval of his thesis. Rubina Mushtaq was awarded a PhD degree in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of her thesis.
