KARACHI: The official trailer of the upcoming film Parey Hut Love showcased extravagant wedding sets and colourful decor, giving the audiences hints of what to expect from the star-studded release.

The first track from the film has been unveiled and is titled Ik Pal. The vocals have been lent by the the duo of Hadiqa Kiani and Indian artist Harshdeep Kaur.

The wedding song features actor Meera in a special appearance. The single starts with lead actors Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui making small talk with each other, where the latter is seen asking Saniya (played by Maya) if she would like a gajra (floral bangle)?

What follows is nothing beyond our imagination. A big fat Pakistani wedding is incomplete without some bhangra and music that makes everyone at home groove to the tune. After all, that is what celebrations are all about, right?

Maya does not seem to have experimented with her looks for this character. She is still the girl next door she has been playing since Mann Mayal. Whereas, Sheheryar manages to break barriers with that mustache and the hot pink kurta with gold embellishments. Apart from the leads, actors Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui, Ahmed Ali Butt and Rachel Viccaji are also spotted giving a thumka.

Visually, Ik Pal is every desi couple's dream. The festive decor is on point and you could definitely pick on some ideas if a wedding is on the cards for you. However, the fancy setup, the fresh flowers, the luddies and the cameo by Meera adds nothing to what the song lacks in terms of being a catchy wedding number that is an instant mood lifter.

Music of the single has been composed by Azaan Sami Khan. Parey Hut Love is directed by Asim Raza and will hit cinemas this Eidul Azha.
