The sanitation company has allocated Rs20 million to protect sanitation staff from contracting hepatitis and other diseases.

In the first phase, sanitation staff from Zone-D is being screened. They will be followed by staff in Zone-C, A and B. After screening, proper treatment of staff — who are diagnosed with diseases — will commence.

WSSP Chief Executive Officer Syed Zafar Ali Shah said that the health of their employees was among the top priorities of the company.
