The PPP chairperson has been a vocal critic of the incumbent government's first federal budget and said that the All Parties Conference (APC) scheduled for Wednesday would give "good news to the nation".
Bilawal announces strong opposition to ‘anti-people’ budget in NA
Leaders of some opposition parties have refrained from attending it. The meeting is expected to deliberate over an anti-government protest campaign.
“I will try to attend the budget session and the APC. I will also raise the issue of missing persons in the meeting. However, all the decisions will be made for the betterment of the country,” added Bilawal.
Earlier today, speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, Bilawal urged the NA speaker to issue production orders for Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leaders Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir, Express News reported.
“MNAs [Members of the National Assembly] from the tribal region should have been a part of the budget session. If the production orders of Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir are not issued, it will set a wrong precedent,” he said.

The PPP chairman also condemned an early morning terror attack in Loralai in which three suicide bombers were shot dead after the security forces successfully repulsed the attack.
“When members of banned outfits will be ministers in a country, then how can terrorism ever be eliminated? No one will believe that ‘Naya Pakistan’ is sincere about its war against terrorism,” Bilawal claimed.
