Agreement reached to build Green Enclave

The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) and the private company have reached an agreement

ISLAMABAD: There is good news for government employees, the government housing foundation and a private company has reached an agreement for building the Green Enclave Phase-I housing scheme in the federal capital. The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) and the private company have reached an agreement to build the housing society in Bara Kahu. For this purpose, the company has transferred 700 Kanals of land to the foundation.

The FGEHF, which operates under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Works, had previously reached an agreement according to which the company had to develop a housing scheme spread over 3,600 Kanals of land.

However, a large part of the earmarked land was located in a mountainous ares, as a result of which the project failed to get off the ground for a long time.  However, the company has now managed to procure and provide an alternate piece of land to the foundation.
