‘Alhamra Live provides platform to budding singers’
Executive director says LAC provides quality entertainment
Lahore Arts Council (LAC) Executive Director Ather Ali Khan on Thursday said Alhamra Live was a musical hunt designed to create a space for audience members who wanted to become singers.
He said a number of cultural institutions claimed to ensure the provision of quality entertainment, but hardly any of them proved their worth in reality.
“Alhamra, on the other hand, has not only met but exceeded expectations in establishing a flawless platform for entertaining the audience,” he said. “Alhamra Live is the only event that offers new talent an opportunity to prove their skills.”
He said LAC successfully organised a music hunt specifically for the public and because of the high levels of acceptance, the public took immense interest and enthusiastically performed.
