While everyone was talking about Afghan spinner Rashid Khan having a bad day in the field, Mali's female cricket team was making their own history, and not a good one.

During the Kwibuka Women's T20, Rwanda women dismissed the whole Mali women team for just six runs in nine overs, with only one coming from the bat.

Mali now have the lowest score by any international women's team in T20Is, as they beat China women who earlier held the unwanted record where they scored only 14 against UAE women in January this year.

China were chasing a 200-plus target when they toppled, but Mali women were batting first and it took only four balls for Rwanda women to chase the target.

For Rwanda, 19-year-old medium-pacer Josiane Nyirankundineza picked up three wickets without conceding a run, while medium-pacer Marie Diane Bimenyimana and legspinner Margueritte Vumiliya picked up two wickets apiece.
