Pakistani tennis player Aisam ul Haq and his Ukranian partner Nadiya Kichenok cruised into the semi-finals of French Open mixed-double event on Tuesday.

Qureshi and Kichenok defeated Taiwan’s Hao-Ching Chan and Austrian Oliver Marach 6-3, 6-4 in their quarter final match of the Rolland Garros.
The Pak-Ukrainian duo of Qureshi and Kichenok are set to face American Nicole Melichar and Brazilian Bruno Soares in the semi-finals, who earlier managed to knock-off Alicja Rosolska and Nikola Mektic in a 6-3, 7, 6(4) victory.
In April, Aisamul Haq Qureshi along with Mexico’s Santiago Gonzalez won his first ATP Tour title as a team in Houston.
