One killed in road accidents
After being hit by a speeding vehicle
KARACHI:
A man was killed and two others injured in separate road accidents on Thursday. According to rescue workers, a speeding vehicle hit Afaq Ahmed, 35, near Qayyumabad. As a result, he suffered injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Separately, an unidentified pedestrian, aged around 50, was hit by a speeding vehicle near Native Jetty Bridge. Another citizen, Asad, 25, was knocked down by a speeding minibus in North Nazimabad. As a result, he suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
