How many Zainabs and Farishtas will suffer before it stops: Mahira Khan
“There was Zainab’s case a while back and now we are facing another similar case,” Mahira said at the press conference. “Awareness regarding ‘good touch, bad touch’ should start from home. Let’s make sure we don’t come across another incident like Farishta’s. Such stories are terrifying. Awareness about sexual abuse should begin at home and school .”
A user called out celebs on using Farishta's case as a platform for their 'personal agenda'.
"People of showbiz need to stop using rape cases to promote their agenda. The vulgarity you promote is a major reason why rapes are on the rise. So please back off," he wrote.

To which, Mahira aptly responded, "Really? The ‘vulgarity’ causes someone to go rape a 10-year-old and then kill her? Get a grip. It’s the mindset! It’s the shame associated with it. And no I will not back off. My voice. My life. I will do whatever I want with it."
