Couple among three killed in Kalat accident

Speeding car hits two motorcycles on Quetta-Karachi National Highway

QUETTA: Three people, including a couple, were killed and three others injured when a speeding car hit two motorcycles on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway near the Khaliqabad area of Kalat
district Tuesday.

Police said the motorcyclists were travelling with family members and the injured, including a woman, were in serious condition.

Police rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to the district hospital. Two of the deceased were identified as Gul Muhammad and Muhammad Akbar.

A case has been registered against the car driver and further investigation is underway.
