Kim Kardashian has dispelled concerns about her beloved Pomeranian, Sushi, after fans speculated about the dog’s mysterious absence.
The 44-year-old reality star showcased her two Pomeranians, Sushi and Sake, in promotional photos for her SKKN Holiday Collection. Posing in a furry jacket and sheer tights, Kim held the dogs against a snowy backdrop to promote the collection.
This marks the first appearance of Sushi on Kim’s platforms since last year, when concerns arose about the dog’s living conditions. Fans criticized Kim after a TikTok video shared by her daughter, North West, showed the dogs in a garage setup, complete with pee pads and Christmas decorations. The video faced backlash, with fans questioning why the dogs weren’t housed more comfortably, leading Kim to delete the clip.
Kim first adopted Sushi in 2017 alongside sister Kourtney Kardashian. Sushi gained fame through appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and even received training from celebrity dog expert Cesar Millan. In one episode, Kim sought Millan’s help after the dog's barking became overwhelming. Millan advised Kim to provide more structure and boundaries for the dog.
Kim’s latest photoshoot with Sushi and Sake not only reassures fans of the dogs’ well-being but also ties into her recent business ventures. Alongside SKKN, her other brand, SKIMS, launched a successful collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, featuring leopard print loungewear and lingerie.
The star continues to balance her personal life with her thriving business empire while addressing public scrutiny over her pets.
