
A detailed order has been issued regarding the publicity of blasphemous content.
The two-page verdict was penned down by Justice Athar Minallah.
"The Federal Investigative Agency should investigate the blasphemous content," the order said, adding that the body should initiate proceedings against the culprits.
It stressed that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) should fulfill its duty of removing such content.

The petitioner should provide data regarding objectionable content to the FIA, the court instructed, adding that the petitioner should also coordinate with the FIA, PTA and other relevant institutions.
"Interior ministry should also stop the circulation of such content," the order added.
The petitioner had filed a petition regarding publicity of blasphemous content on social media platform Facebook.
