Navy soldier martyred in Gwadar attack laid to rest
Muhammad Abbas Khan buried with full military honour in Haripur
Pakistan Navy soldier Muhammad Abbas Khan, who embraced martyrdom while fighting terrorists at Gwadar's Pearl Continental hotel, was laid to rest on Monday.
He was buried with full military honour in his native town of Haripur following funeral prayers in Karachi, said a statement issued by Pakistan Navy.
Three terrorists had attacked Pearl Continental hotel in Gwadar on Saturday which resulted in the martyrdom of five people.
A contingent of Pakistan Navy presented guard of honour to martyred officer and a floral wreath was placed on his grave on behalf of the naval chief.
Besides navy's senior officials, a large number of people attended the funeral and burial rites.
